The wedding of Bollywood’s popular couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan was one of the weddings of the industry which received a lot of praise from the Indian media as well as the international media.

In Hindu religion, it is believed that the life partner of the person who will be married will die some time after the marriage, so in order to avoid bad omen, this person is first married to a tree or an animal.

The news started spreading when Abhishek’s family announced that the wedding would take place at his residence ‘Jo Ho’ and there would be no fuss.
However, in an interview after the wedding, Aishwarya spoke about this topic and said ‘It is beyond understanding where this thing came from? Whenever I went abroad, people would ask me the same question, ‘Were you married to a tree?’
According to Aishwarya, the Indian media did very irresponsible reporting on her marriage, which she regrets.
In an interview given to the Times of India, Amitabh Bachchan also strongly denied these reports and said, ‘Where is that tree? Show me, Aishwarya is married only to my son, you understand that tree is my son Abhishek’.
