Olivia Culpo, the former Miss Universe, and NFL star Christian McCaffrey have made headlines with their engagement.
The couple, who have been dating since 2019, finally took a step forward in their relationship and got engaged in an intimate ceremony on Friday.

The engagement was announced by Culpo on her Instagram account with a photo of McCaffrey down on one knee while she held her hands to her face in shock. The couple’s adorable pup, Oliver Sprinkles, was also present during the proposal.
The pair first sparked dating rumors back in May 2019 when McCaffrey liked a photo that Culpo had posted on Instagram. Later, they were seen enjoying a vacation together in Mexico.
In November of 2022, Culpo opened up about her relationship with McCaffrey in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. She shared that McCaffrey was different from her past failed relationships and she was willing to break her rule against dating athletes again.
“He’s just the best, I feel like he is everything that I could ever ask for,” she said of McCaffrey. “So I never have to worry about anything. I think that was the reason why I didn’t want to date an athlete, no offense because there is a reputation there.”
The ring that McCaffrey used to propose to Culpo was designed by Ring Concierge, a company that specializes in custom engagement rings. The founder and CEO, Nicole Wegman, shared that they worked with McCaffrey to thoughtfully design a ring that encompassed Culpo’s trendsetting style while remaining timeless.
The ring features a beautifully cut oval diamond flanked with epaulet side stones in a handcrafted gold and platinum setting.
