Priyanka Chopra Reveals She Had Frozen Her Eggs in Early 30s

Priyanka Chopra, the renowned Bollywood and Hollywood actress, recently revealed in her podcast that she had frozen her eggs in her early 30s. The actress, who tied the knot with singer Nick Jonas in 2018 and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, through surrogacy in 2022, shared some interesting details about her decision.

Also, I had not met the person I wanted to have children with. So, with that anxiety-inducing, and with my mom who is an ob-gyn (obstetrician-gynaecologist) going, ’Just do it’.”

Chopra also stressed the importance of understanding the reality of the biological clock and recommended that women freeze their eggs early on to gain control over their biological calendar. She explained that after the age of 35, particularly for women who have worked their entire lifetime, it becomes more difficult to become pregnant. Therefore, freezing eggs could be a practical solution for women who want to start a family later in life.
