In the Sara Inam murder case in Islamabad, the local court of Islamabad has handed over the accused Shahnawaz Amir to the police for three days and his father Ayaz Amir for one day physical remand. On the other hand, Ayaz Amir’s ex-wife’s bail application was approved.
On September 23, Canadian-born Pakistani Sara Inam was killed in Chak Shahzad area of Islamabad. After which the police arrested her husband Shah Nawaz Amir. While the accused’s father Ayaz Ameer and his mother Samina Shah had approached the court for arrest.
Apart from handing the accused over to the police on two-day physical remand, the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad also approved the arrest warrant request of the accused’s parents. Yesterday, the court handed over Ayaz Amir to the police on a one-day physical remand after his arrest.
On Monday, the main accused and Ayaz Amir were produced by the police in the court of Senior Civil Judge Amir Aziz. On the other hand, Ayaz Amir’s ex-wife applied for interim bail.
“I ran towards the room, but the murder had already taken place.”
Samina Shah, the ex-wife of senior journalist Ayaz Amir, approached the court for pre-arrest bail in the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad on Monday. That the name of the accused was nominated by the deceased’s uncle. However, he is not an eyewitness to the murder. Nor do they have anything to do with this incident.
said the application. That the accused has been a resident of the farm house where the murder took place for many years.
He claimed that his son and the main accused Shah Nawaz Amir informed him about the incident by phone at 9:12 in the morning after the murder. So Samina Shah ran towards the room. However, by the time they arrived, Sara Inam had been killed.
It has been stated in the application that the mother of the accused asked Shahnawaz Amir to sit in the room, till then the father Ayaz Amir informed the police after which the Islamabad police reached the scene within a few minutes.

Applying for pre-arrest bail, Samina Shah’s lawyer told the court that she is also suffering from health problems.
In the Additional Sessions Judge’s court, the petition of Shahnawaz’s mother was heard, while granting her bail, the court said that there is no charge against her and she had told the police about the incident herself. The court also directed them to undergo investigation within three days.

In the court, Ayaz Amir himself gave arguments and said that he reported the incident to the police himself.
The investigating officer was asked by the court that Ayaz Ameer is related to this case. So it was told by the police that the accused Ayaz Amir has been nominated by the deceased’s uncle.
The court was told by the police that the parents of the deceased are in Canada and will reach Pakistan by tomorrow.
Ayaz Amir said in the court that “the police have no evidence against me, not even a fabricated story.”
He said that “I told my son’s mother not to let Shah Nawaz escape.”

How did the sara inam case occurred?
According to the police, the incident took place between 10 and 11 am on Friday.
According to the FIR of this case, Samina Shah, the mother of the accused Shahnawaz, informed the police about the murder.
On receiving the information, the police reached Farm House 46 and the accused locked himself in the room as soon as he saw the police. It is recorded in the FIR that after opening the room, the accused was controlled.
It also states that when the accused was taken out of the room, there were blood marks on his clothes. According to the FIR, the accused said that during the fight, he hit a dumbbell on his wife’s head and hid the dead body in the washroom.
It is also recorded in the FIR that the accused has also recovered the murder weapon dumbbell hidden under the sofa. On which there was blood and hair. According to the FIR, the accused said that he killed his wife by stabbing him several times with a dumbbell.
Speaking to the BBC, DIG Operations Islamabad Police Sohail Zafar Chatta confirmed that ‘a tortured body was found in the washroom of the house with injury marks on the head.’
He said that the deceased Sara was allegedly tortured with a dumbbell used for peeing and apparently she died due to this torture.
According to reporter Shehzad Malik, the family sources of the accused say that the deceased was his third wife and they got married in a court in Islamabad just a few weeks ago. The accused has been divorced from his two wives before.
According to the local police, the farmhouse where the incident took place is named after the ex-wife of Ayaz Amir, the father of the accused. And the accused was living with his mother.
